1. What is my Google Apps account for

The communications medium and the applications included in this service hopes to facilitate a collaborative culture among our teachers and employees with the digital infrastructure to do so.

This service also hopes to ensure an environment where information can be communicated safely and easily.

The deped.gov.ph email account is institutionalized in order to strengthen the sense of identity among Department of Education employees, acting in their capacity as employees, educators, and representatives of the agency. They shall thus identify with a government agency dedicated to the public service of providing quality Education and the propagation of quality character in the Filipino people.

2. How do I register for my Google Account?

You only need a computer or any kind of computing device, and a reliable internet connection to register and to access your account. Please follow the steps below:

Fill in the registration form with the correct information: depedverify.appspot.com/verify

    • Tax Identification Number (TIN) number
    • First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name (Suffix, optional)
    • Date of Birth

Once you have successfully registered, you will be automatically redirected to the Google Apps log-in page

If we aren’t able to verify your account, a verification officer will be in touch with you as soon as possible to provide you with your account details. The officer will contact you via the email address and/or contact number you provided on the registration form.

3. I am experiencing technical problems while using the site.

Most technical problems are caused by incompatible browsers. Make sure you have the latest browser version. We’ve found that this site works best with Mozilla Firefox 15 and Google Chrome 21.

4. I’ve already registered. How can I access my Google Account?

Go to the Google Apps log-in page at https://mail.google.com/a/deped.gov.ph

Key-in your username and password. Your username and password should have been provided upon successful registration.

5. I have already registered, but my account needs verification. What is the next step?

A verification officer will be in touch with you as soon as possible to verify your DepEd employment status and registration details. You will be contacted via the email address and/or contact number you provided on the registration form. Once approved, the officer will give you your account details.

6. I am unable to access my account. I have a question about my account. My password is not working. I forgot my password and/or username.

7. How often can I use my Google account?

As long as you are a DepEd employee, you can use it anytime. You only need a computing device and an internet connection to access your account.
